First go to the
Submission / Automatic
section.
On the left, you find a list containing all search services of the Hello Engines! search service database. All these search services allow automatic submission. On this list, you also find an evaluation of the respective search services as well as the country of origin.
When you right-click
a search service, a menu opens offering the following options:
Check all: Choose this option to submit your website to all
search services displayed.
Uncheck all: Choose this option to override the selection.
Quick find: This option helps you to find a specific search
service .
Details of selected search service: If you choose this option,
you get information about the selected search service, as for example
about the category or if the submission is liable for costs and how long
you have to wait until your website is registered.
Go to homepage of this search service: If you choose this option,
you automatically get to the home page of the selected search service.
Go to submission page of this search service: If you choose
this option, you automatically get to the submission page of the selected
search service.
On the right
you find the Filter window. Here
you set a filter to find the desired search services in the search service
list.
The following filter options are available:
If you wish to display search engines only, check Search
engines check box.
If you wish to display directories only, check the Directories
check box.
If you wish to display other search services, check the Others
check box.
If you wish to display specific countries, check the corresponding
countries.
If you wish to display only search services, to which your website
has not been submitted yet, check the Not
submitted check box.
To enable the selected filter click the Apply filter button.
From the Sites window choose the website(s) you wish to submit. You can choose one of the websites you specified in the Project section.
Now, after having selected the desired search services and website(s), submit your website(s).
Click the Submit button from the toolbar.
If an error is located or if you did not fill in the fields required for the respective search service, the Errors and warnings dialog box opens. Then you can choose if you wish to continue the submission or if you wish to submit your website(s) only to those search services for which no errors and warnings occurred.
Finally, you get a report about the submission process. You can choose table, HTML or RTF format for the report.
On the right, you find the Submission History. Here you find all the made submissions.
To display a report of a past submission, click the corresponding entry.
